Sophie F.

Sophie is studying HL Biology, HL English, HL History, SL French, SL Geography, and SL Math. Born to parents of Japanese and British heritage, she has grown up in several states as well as Singapore. Sophie has been internationally schooled throughout her life, and plans on finishing her IB diploma at the Baton Rouge International School. Sophie continues to do gymnastics as an extra-curricular activity, and has recently acquired the title of Louisiana State Champion.Melissa S.

Melissa is studying HL Biology, HL Spanish, HL French, SL Language and Literature, SL Geography, and SL Math. She was born is Mexico and moved to the states when she was three. Since then, she has completed MYP, won an NGY scholarship to go to NSLC, and has participated in an anti-violance and drug campaign in Mexico. Melissa speaks 4 languages and hopes to add Portuguese, Italian , and German to that list.Felicinda J.

Felicinda is studying HL Biology, HL English, SL Spanish, SL Geography, HL Art, and SL Math. Felicinda has Venezuelan, Middle Eastern, and African-American blood lines. She has attended pilot classes and has learned more about the subject from her father. When she is not in the air, she enjoys reading novels and listening to all types of music. Giselle D.
Giselle is studying HL Biology, HL English, HL French, SL Chemistry, SL Geography, and SL Math. She was born and raised in Louisiana, to parents of Creole and Texan heritage. Giselle is one of the first students to attend the Baton Rouge International School, and has achieved fluency in 4 languages to prove for it. She is an avid dancer who has starred in local productions of the Nutcracker as the lead role of Clara. Her favorite book to read is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.Jordyn K.
Jordyn is studying HL Art, HL History, HL French, SL Math Studies, and SL English. Jordyn was born and raised in Baton Rouge. Jordyn has a passion for art, and spends much of her free time drawing and refining her artistic abilities. She centered her Personal Project for MYP around the Visual Arts subject! She is also an avid blogger, and updates her Tumblr page on a daily basis. Jordyn also has a love for animals, which she shows by fostering as many cats and dogs as possible.
