Relative Pronouns

Hi Everyone!

Last week we studied the usage of relative pronouns. Unfortunately, we have graduated from the simple ones such as "qui", "que", "dont", and "ou." Now, we are focusing on the more complicated ones: "lequel", "laquelle", auquel", and "duquel."

The spelling and usage is a tad confusing:

"Lequel" is used after a preposition.

Masculin Feminine
Singular lequel laquelle
Plural lesquels lesquelles

"Auquel" is used with "à."

Masculin Feminine
Singuar auquel à laquelle
Plural auxquels auxquelles

"Duquel" is used with "de."

Masculin Feminine
Singular  duquel de laquelle
Plural desquels desquelles

Below is a sheet that we were given to study for our upcoming quiz! I hope you will find it useful!
