Voting in France
Hi Everyone!During class, we looked into how France's legislative and executive branches are structured. In addition, we had to research France's voting rights history and present our findings to our classmates. As it turns out, the voting system is just as complicated in France as it is in the U.S. Did you know that France still uses paper votes? Also, the citizens count the votes. There's only one catch; you have to be able to read. Anyhow, we discussed how important voting is to citizens and to their country. We concluded that voting is privilege and a responsibility. We felt that we should vote for all the people in the world who can't. Lastly, voting is your political opinion and contribution to the democratic system! What do you guys think about voting?
This is a screenshot of a slide from my informative PowerPoint on voting in France and in the US.
